Oprah Winfrey has denied reports that she was paid $1 million to support Vice President Kamala Harris by hosting a star-studded town hall event in September.
While walking to her car after a workout in Santa Barbara, Oprah was approached by a TMZ reporter who asked her about various hot topics.
When asked about the alleged payment, Oprah firmly stated,
“Not true. I was paid nothing. Ever.”
She then made it clear that she had no intention of discussing President-elect Trump’s landslide victory, saying, “I’m not talking about the election.”
As she got into her SUV, the reporter asked whether she thought Prince Harry might lose his visa if Trump became president. Without responding, Oprah closed the door and drove off.
