However, Crouch believes Osimhen’s current stint at Galatasaray is merely a temporary solution, a “stopgap” designed to run down his existing contract and possibly lower his transfer fee for a future move. He emphasized that Osimhen’s next career decision is crucial, cautioning against a premature switch to Saudi Arabia. Crouch implied that a move to a league like the Premier League or another top European competition could better align with Osimhen’s abilities and ambitions.

“I love watching him play. He’s like, so strong, powerful and fantastic in the air. He’s got good touch, he can play,” Crouch said. “This is obviously a stopgap, I think Galatasaray is just a means for him to wind his contract down a bit, maybe reduce his transfer fee if you’d like, but his next move is crucial.”
